Job Description:
* x# Z. v8 d  P5 ?) HTo acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
, ^% |  d- g1 U7 v5 |+ O* a- y• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
7 D/ }" ^% y" N• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
• Participate in trade shows;
2 Q; l# B! S( N: u" Y• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;
9 e& P' I! z/ X- M- D3 `' T; i• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;
• Maintain close relationship with reservations and front office staff;
• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;

8 v& a8 M! R) I  [7 S  }5 M5 ?• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
1 j7 s& y; v: T' O• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
1 G1 T6 L3 ^% d• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
/ t* n* W  k" W- V6 |2 y3 _1 E• Ability to work within deadlines;
• High level of creativity and innovation;
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;
! z, @  ?' x: f1 P3 j5 Q• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
