•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
& c( n2 t* ]( g, r+ M' j•        Oversee hotel security requirements. ' @" Z* w1 l. C+ N1 Z( v* a. d
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.2 W& l& o/ e9 s, ~& Q" A
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
8 E! a. \- V8 _) b  K# N•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.% v7 i+ ]% h. F  Y6 X. b. r( `
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.) s4 Q& T' C/ [
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.8 f4 g1 r3 \2 g  O8 V9 n7 _+ g: |# m
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.: c) K4 C4 A0 c6 P6 c& R4 b
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. . q/ _5 X& T, ~+ w9 e4 h' p
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. 0 S  ^, \; {% G  _$ a9 V
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. , J, u+ ~, v. Q3 c4 a
•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
2 m3 t1 T6 ]" r+ y. _•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.4 C) m- q2 ~6 {& ]! {: l' I  \
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
8 H& D) n& `5 b% Y3 a4 a1 L' R•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.. Q/ f9 ^9 }3 P$ F- u3 f; Y( S
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department 3 k; ], J' D0 n9 Y  t5 |4 k5 `
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies% N1 Y, k! o. X3 z) |: v
•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center6 j) v3 n0 }& L" F" W0 c2 {1 L  T
•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

  g$ j% I# `! O' q8 Y' t8 a! N•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property; o/ a6 ~0 b. K
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;

( |; D4 b' s8 f/ a. Z• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;& I$ O% r- j% T# w4 h( v* ]8 t
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
