Job Responsibilities
# P7 m h8 a2 r2 u6 k• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.$ f y) {6 }1 X$ b2 r n; ]- l
• Oversee hotel security requirements.
i# U u3 k3 r7 T' b• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
: T3 h8 ]2 r8 ~6 |) p. H. ~( l, I• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
' N: d; v8 G; Q4 b$ @4 i1 M4 Z• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
' R8 s. m* F% C• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.$ L2 w/ f `% R/ n1 g7 d( L
• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
3 W$ o8 I/ t0 @- ]( v' n• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
; K. l$ I$ r3 k) P0 M• Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff.
5 x# a% L! _. N/ k: O• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
- c* ]9 p3 F, ?• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. # w. r) x" o# ^- G
• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
1 a: G0 R0 b0 k* P! r- z. ]* E• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
/ K$ J0 D( [6 T; b+ h# A• Attend Cluster meetings.
/ _5 _& V- l4 @4 G• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.& x1 @; D9 ~1 i+ N/ V
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department ' o( Y2 J& I. x- T8 c# N" ~
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
9 k0 c% @' b# D" t• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center9 |! [" p5 {$ a; b D9 q
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

Requirements:
" N/ s7 l2 H7 m•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
# v, e4 x/ }# [$ t• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;. T: P+ N, Q3 i+ D
• Ability to lead and develop;
8 [& F3 j' H1 l7 ]8 [7 Z# M8 l1 C) ^• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;& g: j4 l$ D6 w O7 U V
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
