Job Description:
( v; D+ C1 Q9 Z- P9 AJob Responsibilities, N( [; Y+ J& m
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
/ U) O( X0 D, q4 b: g# b/ c. o4 s5 i% d•        Oversee hotel security requirements.
" ^& L' p4 j0 T  S! F•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.- P% y: C1 B& u  D) n5 o
•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
- Y! r+ a5 k2 S6 B•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel." V! h+ u+ n2 l" E2 s6 H
•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.; }( o0 r0 x* H% x4 n# R1 h
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
! c& P# H& o. P8 a2 c•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.6 F7 ~3 T- j9 p: B% w
•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. 8 }4 A; s+ M7 [. H& {2 H
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.
/ P6 i4 Y1 {8 y+ _) h4 I•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
' f6 S/ Y4 k3 u•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. % t: o4 n- s$ @4 L$ v: J% @7 i
•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.7 C' H4 s/ E/ `2 j4 ]$ b. `
•        Attend Cluster meetings.
7 ]/ `6 Y0 {8 C3 A. h. n•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.: \; H9 S; I; o3 i& y
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department ' m7 ]" ^1 m% P& e4 k
•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
& T1 D7 t4 g9 E; I•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
$ R( O  Y' F  o+ p•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
4 J1 i) `  \4 X+ r# N•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

Requirements:
: w+ X9 q9 O( `$ z9 m( H•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property# T, Y- \/ A3 w. g$ Z
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
+ s3 E, N- E, }, S  H• Ability to lead and develop;/ R) a! N8 G9 F* U& ]/ ]9 g9 S
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;8 n/ J" {# Z+ V  A7 O$ u/ E
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
0 n5 w' j/ c5 @2 O, B• Ability to work within deadlines;
; h$ M% D( k# h2 O( q5 m/ n% m• High level of creativity and innovation;- V) z9 R: f, t7 Z  X/ k$ [
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasked assignments;! T0 U. l* Y( g, P
• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.& i( O3 }, m- K1 x6 r- p3 [/ C, i. X
