Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

9 g6 j+ [+ H. LWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

8 f0 g" s) K; g# {The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
! }. g0 x: }& N) k1 f Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
( L1 q! g6 J1 n) Q$ w, a$ M Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
" {, v5 U/ a0 q4 ?- R& B Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
 Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
% j  r' U  u# F2 K1 v% I Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
