Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

: \- S' R6 a6 ]: W- kWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

5 v# F8 B  t4 L. B5 }& [The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
 Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
: Y2 o  B1 }  f! I Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
/ n1 a5 ?" h# F Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
* L9 Z1 Z9 P& \ Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
. E& `9 @# N& j, Z: h Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
( Q/ D0 W: q5 T Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- V; W0 s6 n2 M( y3 D4 h An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
