Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

8 d+ Z  ]* J. ?We are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

1 n  O" @# G' w7 V, \The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
: t# I8 X; I2 J3 ~; m! S Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
; T% L& I0 Z5 x Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
5 C9 i4 I1 Z4 N/ Z8 E& v2 w" } Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
7 g3 l% y1 f! u' D# M Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
 Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
