Key Responsibilities are as follows:! Z- ^) ~, f3 w2 a4 _
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services

Y& v•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies& e, j7 f' @# X" U
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
/ a6 W% Y0 Q0 x: Z" j% S9 j$ _2 l•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.8 T# ]+ @0 q' Y0 M+ A2 r
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:) Z+ A" O* F. ^' g" N
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
1 X0 f$ l* L, f$ z4 i( i•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;, }% A0 w. q5 L* L, J
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
; g R3 z/ w6 ?2 I& t•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential , _2 I& H* @1 g) I/ |0 }8 Z
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.# ^) s' Q& q+ W- ~3 ~
