3 `; a" L2 x& [! @% f•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services

A/ K. c•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies6 g- ?/ \/ F5 T" K) z
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
4 `0 k& ~) {2 h•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
2 n, n& E U! c( F; u1 g•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
6 z) H/ n/ J0 m•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
/ Q' w$ c" E" \3 t•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;* n: I3 `3 v3 k/ _. }2 [( g& s/ f
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
3 y) l7 O& `+ w* L2 {& S5 y& o. Q; f* e: I•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
