Key Responsibilities are as follows:2 d$ Y7 W9 H- B! x# z3 l# N
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 0 ^1 o( r, N, ]+ K( }
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies1 E( N, n/ w$ C! `$ g' m1 L" e
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
6 o7 q1 U7 ?7 D C" g: Z•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.2 ]7 S7 w0 I& C. f7 \ l
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

1 n" |* M9 y+ a" X9 O' I•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
" N3 L- x, ^) ^! X$ v" e. G- H•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
3 w' ^7 I) B) H: J•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
+ |* G* j4 u# ?7 t% v( w( b5 j•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
( E( J" z/ w# C- a•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
