Position Title: Program Manager (Downtown Office) – Full time position  ; C) k" [2 ]* L* w' c
Salary: Based on Qualification & Experience

This position reports directly to the District Program Manager- o' ?8 T/ f" m6 j) z! N

Key Responsibilities are as follows:  N: \! Y; Z' b# s/ T
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services / A# b" n. J6 N
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of  up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies) R3 e* T& y: n( I. i9 W
•Required skills include:  understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting# B& B7 ~+ m, T0 {+ w$ r
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
8 I' j' k0 J( \1 F6 Q# x, ?•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:) t3 `9 `' Q- @. v
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
- Z6 r1 j2 |; ^: J: G•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
1 B% O% `2 M  J# A* x0 @! E•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;1 _2 ]& f7 B4 I: C* O# c% E2 E; E9 V
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential   \+ g" r2 h( }7 e: {2 i% [
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
