Key Responsibilities are as follows:
4 \, q& P p9 r& _+ h' X6 @•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
) ~: M: t# ?5 p2 J# I/ j( b" F•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

A# @- @•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
/ h( j! Z$ O! B•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
+ r4 K: u P: V7 d4 q- v•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

( i3 S8 c8 Q/ ^8 c ?Qualifications:
* W7 I. g) X. v" x) g- K•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
3 _ l; y% I) p; V# Y; R•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
0 I9 O. J3 g0 f! f1 D4 R$ D•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;) F! J8 b. C6 n$ X
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential $ s' L. S- q* \# ^- l
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.' B& C( H. v5 T1 N( T
