1 D r( E* Z0 t; h" t* L0 O# bOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
+ N3 n8 |0 P0 z5 J2 l9 H3 p" @
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

9 F4 C! x4 e: ^1 ]+ P• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
# S' v/ i0 s9 t1 Q
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
# [& K1 Y# [9 v+ ^6 D
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.: |' _' H7 T% B7 G# m; h6 p+ u

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

/ G5 G- G. S; X• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

! b0 K; E! ]7 g: f/ h3 Q1 D• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.+ e3 i6 c) R4 S

• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 
/ O2 x9 [: w# l- l: U X# O( i
• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

+ _+ j x# ?# o5 A; |• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
" D" x4 w0 B& ? Y1 O$ Q6 \& O1 ^4 z
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

• Travel within the assigned region.

• Comfortable using automated selling technology in a daily setting – Salesforce.com
