To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.5 W! @% {1 l5 i# T* f( S7 g

Primary Objective/Duties of position:3 b! f1 ~. ~/ Y! E0 I

Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals/ ]+ h* a# f j3 U- p, y7 _* Q
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business' _) ^4 Q5 T8 }. ]8 S
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients* K o! Q' t1 W6 z
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
! L4 M# }- P f9 h; i, n1 [- I Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
6 e. I# Y& P0 q* X6 j3 n5 D Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes

High School and or Post Secondary Education
5 o6 l) [ a* i) \; s. k Previous customer service experience j* m$ \1 G( d+ @
Previous sales experience an asset) C7 @0 k5 p7 k
General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain; A! n8 P- r% p2 N: a1 l
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
