To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.& Q' d' e* N! K: y' v

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

' ]: F3 L1 [. v$ x6 Y0 A! [% ~2 _ Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals9 u7 V% W' M) z8 F. |3 R
Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business: `- |0 M1 d U% [5 k
Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients! G- s) B& e; ^. N9 B4 f. ~: X
Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
: ]* O1 U6 t: { Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals" V3 G) A7 W `& }' A
Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
* h) c! h) l% l! K( }" h8 Q Actively participate in training initiatives
T& X( q0 d7 m" s: X Participate in community marketing initiatives

High School and or Post Secondary Education+ P1 f. ?/ `+ K3 F) Z
Previous customer service experience9 s3 o1 m }) X; K) G; y. q
Previous sales experience an asset
7 _6 @( L; w% ~1 k' ~! c) K' k General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain2 m1 E: K, p8 K0 H! U: o
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
