Position Summary:
6 [$ i! ^/ j" w3 O5 B2 A/ C' T& bTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

3 m9 P# R6 U6 B0 c5 D5 X/ D7 mPrimary Objective/Duties of position:

6 s8 z# c7 N* F5 R    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
# W& D5 U' n$ z/ K- t/ e    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
4 B4 Y" C4 O0 @. X  V& \3 p    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
) ]) R3 I1 q+ C( L) p8 S    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

$ y  |! R, B. U( }5 q8 m    High School and or Post Secondary Education
" @; ]; F( Y- q$ R  I5 t9 h    Previous customer service experience
% V* D7 E. ], X) @    Previous sales experience an asset
4 H# @+ ]- m# @7 M    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
3 |& r1 P. g/ V! e; B* D    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
    Strong analytical and organizational skills
7 g! w8 A4 k& m, B0 \6 H- H    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
