like to thank you for your interest in the My Undergraduate Groups # ^3 S2 [/ S! Q7 _
(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By
# E; y* B' L! U; Xattending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of
/ f2 B1 I! h! n3 _information that will make your transition to the University community

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday,
- b& C2 X G8 ^5 pSeptember 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check

to find your check in location all by yourself, there will be hundreds

look for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth

( K2 C I4 o+ NBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening 1 O- ^+ ?. L! M( K( V& C5 j
activities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend 2 e8 O7 Y- v4 K: @. c" C
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday
) r' M0 A. H7 R& h' _evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in

- P. |& t( ~3 j8 Q" o6 @0 ^You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
/ ?9 w" e; H7 y5 {September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006, & {+ e& q% @2 d- B$ w
and then continue to meet with for the entire year.( a$ e$ V4 W {4 W7 m. c! b

Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you
9 v' }1 a. `% ito get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from
. X" y t8 O0 _ ]8 [8 ~your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your
1 D; ~0 x1 B) s$ w m5 x1 KONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
c x) M$ a& I- a8 a9 p( Byour ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece : Z/ N( u# r# N; f+ o5 q* U
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
; J1 x d$ v/ V* zComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic
4 ]+ V1 c5 z ^& x [6 SInformation and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
5 i6 {5 m3 p. V" l3 M8 sbring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the . _6 z" ^, }4 ]8 Y8 t- s9 `+ {" f8 l
