买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

' R+ F( p: z& n) |  BYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
4 X( J7 C% E0 }8 B+ M% p. j•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and, z, ?! R( \9 L. V8 d. t# F
•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).8 e2 A, p$ \; i% q* M
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

只要是第一次买房,都可以。1 Q) r* J# @; A6 j3 F% {  e( u

A qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction.% |3 ~' z7 p7 }0 T. y  d+ N

    townhouses;

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.# x3 I0 @" ~6 w

# ?2 q2 N7 w; n; X* I6 P6 R在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.# J( t, ]. e) ^4 n' V5 J

When more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.+ f  L: A% p2 T+ T" W
