买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

' X* p" w) t3 |- ]You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:/ C4 p, E7 g0 _, |9 R0 Z: O3 z! @
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
4 h4 e4 ?+ N5 x9 b6 y' M5 i•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
2 G" H8 u0 f5 m' }* pSo the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction., d, S! ]) u% K7 }

    apartments in duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, or apartment buildings.

/ c1 H* h+ @. B+ l- c+ x0 JA share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.
