' p, L; L" N  rAre you an immigrant woman who:

2 q) [# p5 ]* g+ N, ?5 |, o8 Q-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

•        Counseling to help you find what is right for you.
•        Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
  y/ D. Y: a% d; z•        Opportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
- n3 G8 I8 `% t. s8 X5 ~•        Information about community agencies and services.
•        Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
: ~) }, C( _- n2 `/ v% @•        Continued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.

2.  July 17, 2006 – July 28, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
3.  August  21, 2006 – Sept. 1, 2006                Mon. Tues. Thurs and Fri. from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
