The increased demand is due to strong job and population growth, according to Christina Butchart, senior analyst with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.% v- H; Y1 q8 t1 }: Y X1 N

“If you look at the number of people who are moving into Edmonton, it’s record high levels so that’s contributing to that expanding demand,” she said.8 _0 I. V r+ e8 t- r
