Your job responsibilities will include:
5 o3 _2 C. |" n•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
0 C2 P- U2 Q8 O( u$ H•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
+ c% j7 {! P& c8 G* M  K3 A* X" V•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.

•Prepare month-end AP accrual

5 L* z1 r/ V' z5 IThe ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
