We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.: u$ Y/ p. e0 Q1 Y& q" y: {$ ^4 s
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
$ ]: s* p& i% G3 ~/ R• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

REQUIREMENTS:

2 \( I, }3 \' k: E$ j• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role+ p. y' H+ I6 p0 D& ?' P0 B
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
7 b0 c8 s5 c1 G3 K$ c; B5 D- {' P Z• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
7 w" H$ W) z- @1 O# t( | |• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
