We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

POSITION: Junior Accountant9 g6 h9 H3 s: S w

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
2 S2 j6 u, ^+ I8 a• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.
8 l7 \' M% E/ r* B7 ^8 {8 n• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
" ?8 J/ s) P; ]) T• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role/ h# E# r% }0 {/ x+ u
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study4 W* d* e6 o: g! e8 c# ^
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills& _ x- B% L6 X ^2 x; a( w- v
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
* H+ r' A+ `; K7 A• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)2 v& _7 C! I" o: m+ C
