We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
( D$ J* B$ `7 h8 K0 w• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.9 p- g2 h9 ^' |5 n6 a$ n: _# P' |2 e
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

2 @' C" I% Y& e8 d$ H p3 |• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role! e9 j# B6 E. G3 e
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
- y3 ?0 o" ~% K5 s$ M• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills9 O y7 o1 q/ g: S8 u) k
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers8 a) }) ^: u) e4 ^! W! A' L( a3 B: i$ R
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)
