We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.: o0 H9 ^( i, |# _& F
• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.) y5 V- e l' k" W
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
; d6 I; [5 W4 c& z! d• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

) i- K4 r1 W6 s• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
3 u/ ]8 m# C$ l6 h$ K( k• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study' d+ Y% o7 s# S8 |% |% G' p0 \! Z6 [) m
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills. ^# p5 V1 w0 P
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers4 \5 R9 ^ p) Z5 q2 [
• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry); b& ^. ~7 \3 I; A
