No one was injured after a brush fire tore through a section of Edmonton's river valley on Friday night.
) q" b w7 h4 d/ l* j. fThe fire started around 11 p.m. near the Wolf Willow and Rio Terrace neighbourhoods in the west end of the city. . X) T- T) k/ g8 E u2 f
Edmonton Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sarah Meffen said 17 fire trucks were called to fight the fire. It was declared under control at 1:20 a.m., and was officially out at 3:20 a.m.
