The new start date for our next session is Tuesday, Jan 16, 7 p.m. as usual. Bring a friend if you would like. There will be new topics of conversation.

The new year is a time for 'housekeeping' (cleaning up, discarding things that are not being used, etc.) and I think I need to do some housekeeping with respect to our data base for the International Friendship Club.

I thought the best way is to ask you to reply to this email if you want to continue receiving email or letters through the mail. If you aren't coming any longer to the Club but still wish wish to be advised of special events, again, just reply to this email and you will remain in the data base.

If you DO NOT reply to this email by January 12, I will know that I can remove your information from our data base. The data base is simply getting too large and there are in fact many who do not wish to be involved with the Club any longer but perhaps may not have advised me. Although that makes us all sad, we do understand that perhaps it is time to move on and the Club no longer meets a need.
