Job Description:

4 t  e0 _% P, h* yPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
4 `2 E- z4 Z3 V/ @% CModify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
1 X; H! n/ z4 E* l5 b/ ]6 Y  HSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
* X% K0 s. g8 @/ k& @Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
. e  k" ], F; _% B% g5 `Recruit and manage kitchen staff
$ _! k: \6 l/ r4 e' {Rectify arising problems or complaints
6 {7 h& M0 h- \$ Z( x2 U) w7 ]Give prepared plates the “final touch”
# M6 \* Z0 |: e( HPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
& }5 c' v% B& l' RKeep time and payroll records

Proven working experience as a head chef

Communication and leadership skills

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
