Job Description:

Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
! ?. g5 K: ~# q' w: d' [Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
! K# J# U8 s- R2 }, mSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
7 _! [( U/ S% g7 o; nArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
9 T/ F6 U1 G% |Recruit and manage kitchen staff
# c% c8 i4 B% J% IRectify arising problems or complaints
6 s1 k6 X4 x& n! A+ P2 ^4 P( c: DGive prepared plates the “final touch”
Perform administrative duties
; W% @, P' s. M" n0 H5 kComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
