Job Description:

Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
. |# p- x% [( k% e2 q6 ]1 G( EEstimate food requirements and food/labor costs
: F9 s% B2 S7 X. d6 qSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
% s' I0 X) ^. T' f$ @$ oArrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
( H) q: [8 c. U6 T. c6 x8 vRectify arising problems or complaints
Give prepared plates the “final touch”
; O) ?7 L" i. L8 _' g9 iPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Excellent record of kitchen management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently

Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
3 ?  r4 Q' U# J8 W3 y# m, s0 a  KWorking knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
