原来加拿大雇主无故开除员工(dismissal)是合法的

我见过有人因为系鞋带被开除,眼镜断了看不清被开除2 T7 ]& {  Y7 F. M
我问了 labor law他们说 雇主无故开除employees是合法的

呵呵,这个问题还用问吗?既然是雇佣关系,那么解雇有没有原因根本不重要。。

如果是因为歧视,是可以打官司的。但是很难证明。其他的想怎么解雇就怎么解雇。$ V' D- C9 Q& ?& E! _9 Y* h

其实原因什么的没必要问,理由多得是,比如公司经济不好需要裁员。3 d2 B3 a7 U# H' _1 B" h% x. r" p' S
唯一的区别是,公司正常lay off会给补偿金,失业者可以拿EI等;而fire就什么都没有

0 |! e) ^* d% A* [+ |6 l非也非也。。Dismissal也要看情况,通常只有Quit才99%没有EI(即使是Quit,有时候是因为雇主造成的,也有EI)3 g3 \: E2 C( r2 J8 v+ N! K: j
