Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
3 p4 [/ A" G" B5 i6 C z' P"I am going to send it back".
& n+ e6 t7 w0 B. C7 n8 ^I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
% E( I+ G, t" v+ c& o "I am sorry, what are you sending back?" 1 s$ I: N. Y3 p( o3 g2 [3 u! L
He said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."

Finally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.

"No, I am not. I do not do those things."* D+ q* k O( U ?0 W$ P
He took out his wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
K9 v9 ^( m1 m# X! L; ?3 jI gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
- [0 a& i" V- D# k- g3 `) z"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"3 `# j! J6 w5 m9 D; f1 o* Y
"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:

He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."

He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.
