I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
' X- s7 @% C; F: w, u/ c"I am going to send it back".
, W+ m$ r7 N% n% j4 m+ dI did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
) g2 ~4 I  Z$ i& T "I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
. w1 b+ o7 Y! U. v0 G/ d! mHe said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
8 m  [4 N' V& f7 v4 F"Yes, I did."
  Q. I3 E6 J/ U- O) y6 BFinally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
0 ~  H, C; z$ L. J! D% DHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
7 }, Z" M0 v. w5 L; y0 F"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
8 U) I8 f1 D% C9 z! d"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
3 M$ |2 z* }: ?; Q( [. \, nHe took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
- n! s/ g5 g! ^' J* ?I gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
6 j/ \$ p" @8 j) s: r"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
"I do not have an address."
9 H( E+ W3 k6 ~7 `; \# k3 v$ mI was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
He did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
/ s+ z, u9 j" p7 _  ]7 Q9 MHe did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
