Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
. n. c1 I' r( s. @3 H/ A( g3 d* D- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
% b4 y6 I! S! o# Y- Supervise kitchen staff
6 I" N  P1 m/ U7 h3 N- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
5 t- A6 v, k8 v/ {/ F/ M. L/ s- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary
- {8 `* e% ]* U9 n& P  C0 @Requirements:
- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
/ b$ S$ L" L- E7 M# G- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
9 \. ]. b' U/ O- V2 L% t- Good proficiency in English.

4 k3 c7 L, ]. h1 C& u( qWorking hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.

Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
