Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
4 W' L; j) F4 K2 Z- Supervise kitchen staff
6 w+ U( y- E! p, @6 e# R- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
4 M) M/ K2 e6 {7 t! K, `. D: D- Manage kitchen operations
9 t6 ?" y8 Z. H9 n8 Y6 \- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
- Work night shifts, as necessary

' W( p8 u5 f7 g# z- |$ J5 ~/ s1 q- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
5 l' \+ A# U6 u3 H) P& _- Good proficiency in English.

This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
