Calgary police have now laid charges against an 18-year-old Calgary woman following the death of a little girl at a crosswalk in the city's northwest.
! b2 {" I* ]: x% \5 tPolice Sgt. Doug McIlwraith said Tuesday that Angela Ta has been charged with passing a motor vehicle stopped for a pedestrian at a crosswalk, failing to yield at a crosswalk, and careless driving.
8 F' z6 O' c* \+ L  v, RMcIlwraith says the charges could mean a licence suspension, a $2,000 fine or six months in jail.
  o1 C9 V' O* W7 O) c. WSix-year-old Jenna Chang and her mother, Ye Qiao, were struck Jan. 18 by a black BMW while using a marked crosswalk at 32 Avenue and 37 Street N.W.
