Khadr — who pleaded guilty to killing a U.S. soldier when he was 15, under interrogation that was later deemed "oppressive" — will receive a settlement of more than $10 million, according to unnamed sources who spoke to The Associated Press, The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail.

4 ?7 K$ O; H8 y- v& n- N8 gThe Star said Khadr will get more than $10 million, but less than the $20 million he sought in a civil suit. Other reports said he will receive about $10 million.

The government and Khadr's lawyers negotiated the deal last month, according to AP.

一楼说的很清楚了，赔的是“过分严厉”的钱，而不是他杀了人还奖励，别搞错了。他战场上杀人已经受惩罚了，关在监狱里，不是正常的监狱。

$ z, Q* J8 j. H* x8 ~. y% k. k2: It's USA that put him into prison, doesn't matter it's right or wrong, it's not Canada's business; beside, he committed criminal and terrorist activity which he admitted and deserved the punishment.
3:As a guy of 16 years of age, not a child anymore, he should have developed his ideology system already by that time; there should be no excuse for what he did.
