RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
% U8 n  S$ d( K$ r# \: X# N   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
6 L; C" }# y( v   o Linux based operating systems
3 v6 p( \- ^4 }* b; h& q   o Sun Solaris operating systems
. x' t& E: c+ e: W; i3 h  z   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
& e/ |! g/ L+ f. W; w# N& K• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
- |# Y; O" p, x; J1 D% Y  I' L9 ]• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
8 f! [5 A4 E: W9 N5 d2 pSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
! K2 I& \9 j7 T. i" L• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
. \* l: Q- ], H/ p2 Q) c. b• Ability to work in a team environment
) O" R0 A) {# o' }- @- ]9 L• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
! i: ?. V" M) L' ?4 n; U• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
% N& E; C" [; G5 l+ i6 t5 R) {( ?) o6 m• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
