LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
. s* A5 g" s: {6 D   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
/ d, |, z" Q) b9 x   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
* j* }2 q' g( U" i5 ^7 E   o Microsoft Operations Manager
4 i' Y/ E" t" d) G6 O- S4 Y7 ~   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
/ q- Z+ ]' p1 O+ b- y$ {• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
4 y+ ]' B5 v5 Tplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.

8 V0 `2 g( d  N% X7 s% ZSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
/ z. q+ D) Y9 x; Q• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
: }: w! v( X7 r" u0 f$ X3 v6 ^4 V• Excellent written and verbal skills
; @0 I4 i, B. k. M8 \% g/ k5 \% h• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
( k$ H7 a* [7 I  z• Certification should include some or all of the following:
: O; X. t# T! {8 c, Z8 u  Z   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
1 r4 U/ P+ |5 _) S+ a8 M# h& N0 [   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
# L0 s+ P3 E2 z9 D  G1 M& p2 g5 S• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
4 z: H' j/ h8 p0 D: S4 A• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
$ @( j6 p' n0 T# k• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
