RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
5 B+ M4 Q# o. X% |7 V! U! s2 P• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
9 ?; N- z! B6 s   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
. B% f  k, n2 \. m0 n- W   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
+ G5 V& v+ Y2 R, W" n0 N  \   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
( P+ B: x. t+ N5 h: d7 I   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
$ G. V. O; z5 J8 w   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
2 j( d# y& y5 s% r1 ^• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
% \# }3 ?. I$ |1 U• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
7 k; ?2 _1 ^7 [+ J' m' pplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
0 i' R) u7 ]! ?+ b6 r; KSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
* j- |+ X. n6 Y9 o1 m- o# p; S' w• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy

   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
1 Z- x$ }3 G, I1 k6 N* v! e8 z• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
; @; b4 ^9 W. ]; A3 R' B* i. D$ R• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
' P8 h4 R3 Z. @% U• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience

• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
