( x- Y9 f: b' t/ E  hRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
; ^9 `8 L: k: i7 s0 j1 u• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
+ o/ R0 @/ m8 j* p; b) |   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
- D( x4 F1 `: J! e   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
1 ^2 P. e" j3 Z! K& k   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
* ^# D2 l( {& A• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
/ i# @+ N: Q8 S5 M• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
- h2 x; y/ s. `, G• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
1 |3 }7 X' H! B3 G( ?* A. Hplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
6 `& ]! v& W# V, n5 K& D+ xSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

5 j0 B# |$ ?3 A/ rSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
( R+ K% z2 z1 I9 b0 {• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
" d7 H3 o3 S3 U! b6 \   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
- D" q) e7 i2 [9 l. a( O* ^: U   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
% E0 e& T, c6 P0 i" V   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
# g3 r5 ^- c, a• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
5 U- Z1 i. p0 M0 Z  _+ ]9 i( F8 i9 L• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
! Q  C* ]' }) j6 N8 t) b# `9 @4 [• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
