LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA

SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

: {% t5 }( i+ w% [3 JRESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
: B2 v  b' Z9 }$ n6 v3 S  |   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
! h; H/ c6 w+ v  ?6 O   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
# S6 {# ~; A; z/ L3 g6 v• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
8 m5 P1 n* x# r! L7 z• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
. g! j) s6 l1 B& S/ |2 @3 D8 B• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
  u4 R# ?$ J" \1 i. ~9 v• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
6 C; Q( w1 }0 p. s9 b3 X- k• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
4 ]- R' v( a2 M$ ]  n• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
+ I5 K" A' k  {) @* m   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
7 b6 M$ h, |  [! o   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
: y  H" E8 y! N+ Z   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
+ ^8 y+ f! a& `# O' @# T+ S   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
; P3 m9 g# f' o  D• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
& R( _8 F- X# s* [! p" G8 ^5 a• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
! L* k- _  g$ Q• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
