7 q5 ^) L' M- O  h: [) T. S“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
! [& d. M( A$ f! @6 b3 IAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
' u6 `' K' g& s- f8 t+ JThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
8 x, A' q# m3 N' j7 i1 D1 _5 y3 r- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

$ o" ~; ^6 r* e7 H/ ^+ i8 E- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children

Training:

- 1 hour in-person training
