Students at the University of Alberta have voted in favour of mandatory bus passes, a move that will cost students an extra $75 every term.

9 `% j9 w3 k/ SPower said the U-Pass will be environmentally friendly by encouraging more students to use transit, and those who already buy monthly passes will save about $300 a year when the new pass kicks in next fall.
