亚省医生投票赞成提高费用的草案

亚省医疗协会主席称，该草案会使亚省医生在大概一年半后首次提高医疗费用，以此达到在经济繁荣的亚省留住医生的目的，但是这不一定代表对于病人的医疗水平会随之提高。& D9 D" \9 C! O! Q |2 {

盖瑞医生在周六的新闻发布会上说，我们希望这能够留住亚省医生，也希望能够吸引外省医生来到亚省从业，进而提高医疗水平。但是“任何财政协议都会提高医疗水平“的说法是一个过大的假设。

: A: \; X! y* G6 L* ?EDMONTON (CP) - A tentative deal that would see Alberta doctors receive their first fee increase in almost a year-and-a-half should help retain physicians in the booming province, but it won't necessarily improve patient care, says the president of the Alberta Medical Association. 3 M9 o7 R% W& [) j) z) q

"It will keep physicians hopefully in this province. It will hopefully attract more physicians to this province and therefore has the potential to improve care," Dr. Gerry Kiefer said at a news conference Saturday.
