Essential Responsibilities:

/ y2 L i1 a/ P! a; {: J/ ~0 \PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.0 _& D6 s3 R3 Q
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.4 U9 A7 S2 c9 l
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
; I# T: S8 \' f' g1 z* c5 L* bCollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.1 o7 w) R6 c. ?: V0 i: U
Interpret and follow contract and customer specifications/ Z" U0 z9 }; y1 I
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
* ^/ M" e3 Y/ X9 |" m. nManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.

Provide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution/ p4 `1 Q% {. H, ^! q+ _7 m6 V
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed7 f+ n' ~/ k' d- [
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.' g8 i6 s: ~+ m) Y4 s" T$ }
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional). N* b$ R5 m) S: b
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed2 Q J( \' W" ]" k
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing5 E' k2 C& c. S& a8 g2 ^
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure: \- {0 c. W8 U F( ~0 r. o* Y* Q
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits. W; a/ V4 X+ Z

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College1 w$ }" d# @5 F; p$ t Q: `0 f4 `
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
( t* f0 C" q. g) e5 WAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment), R0 e% W! H4 x5 [/ p
Experience interpreting process control documents.
6 H8 d8 ?' y; S! u p* w' CExcellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
9 [+ g/ M2 }% S+ vProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards/ X( [% c2 I- a* J; g
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies1 b; Q$ ? j# ^' ]: M' M
Valid passport and driver's license.

- z2 ?9 T- A* `6 @Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
4 x+ K5 e# T% |( F" vMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)1 C4 j0 a9 J8 z4 ~' u' q
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment. [& \% ?" }1 g
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents& K8 Y; b% I/ p; t1 d
Ability to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision c. @8 h2 u" P8 ]" g' g
