The procurement officer is responsible for:
* U2 V; m8 q9 r- O9 y-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
! W/ c5 I+ n% q, H8 ]1 N9 @2 w-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
8 X) }1 ~' L3 \* G; D- q7 p-        Building and managing supplier relationships
+ c. t) u1 P7 Y-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

& ^' p" a6 d: b# n. y1 G  T8 [% k3 kRequirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
# Y2 G. Q, c  _! p3 b' k- A! k- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
* q2 B2 T3 Z/ k% n3 g- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
