CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
* N+ Y9 H' I/ r2 g0 {+ I
4 k; @/ Y' }( B9 b& }· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
# u' V" c: B2 G. j; K
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

, t! g. c2 b+ K· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
/ D4 ?, Y- X* q( L& q8 N! WQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

! N+ t! \7 ?+ o) e8 e+ i· Valid Class 1 license
/ E2 A/ a6 r% X- C4 U0 u6 x1 m
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract
3 F; x* K+ n: j2 `# Z8 ^1 F! Z
2 I6 v* c2 b7 x3 N5 t0 Z9 a· Load securement certification
2 o3 L* |- f6 T: S) P8 E* W
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

8 X' V* p" M$ \· Excellent organizational and time management skills

2 n0 s* q# a0 k  k4 K* A· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)
) t' D* c8 L3 r$ |' i' e' K
. e5 a" u  I$ |+ b  i" V' g& v· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
