CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

  H2 N% t  y8 D( K; ]· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
: m4 V. E  g# t5 G0 h
· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
4 R0 b; x& m& ~" b* U. u" d$ d$ I  [
) h) }7 u4 X$ @# |- j4 h· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

* I1 a2 y4 X+ p& w! I$ }. |" L9 K· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

% B* v# K# ~$ Z2 e1 u# E+ `Qualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license
9 z- S! d  Z- e
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification

  |3 b' S8 ]8 W7 X1 y6 g· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
! g0 L9 @& V; [' s! _
! R# ?4 s4 ]( l$ Z: z& f& T: j· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
