CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

4 Z- q& G5 B* {9 k; \, A8 ^· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
5 K, E9 [" o3 o; H
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

. g+ |1 U& K/ p2 u· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
3 v! ~% r4 d  T8 X. ZQualifications and Training Requirements

8 `! [7 H) J9 W: b. J# {( {: V: @· Minimum 3 years experience
3 @' z5 m$ a! M* X
· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

# J% T6 p, e, x/ N# l/ Z( k( E· Load securement certification
( R& w' Q  z7 a0 }% J! t
( u" v% `! l+ \· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
