Job Summary:
& N. L3 m/ j3 j* sThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.4 e X& u" M3 V! N4 f% Q, k

Job Responsibilities:

+ i0 B7 \; S2 e1 f4 A' Z: }8 RMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
$ w% W# n4 X) ?; c2 V+ AInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials

Must be able to work safely at all times
) R1 ?: |$ x/ ~* ^0 w5 d5 WBe able to effectively perform tasks independently

Observes and reports any safety issues5 j/ N$ E, [3 p6 E* A' P

High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
