Job Summary:
8 [: o7 g M9 L$ E2 qThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.. |# D4 e7 K( H

3 g U: Q( b8 PJob Responsibilities:+ e( i$ z" \. M8 _% N! T, `, x
+ [ x7 |. \; q+ k( r- ^0 p) VMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials( z* q7 t3 J* ^8 r
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials y) Y) K# a6 w
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
4 L0 M# t) \- X8 c1 u% sMust be able to work safely at all times- N% @, x: p8 c+ T0 ~
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently3 b2 l) C- U# `. j6 w! @
Performs routine housekeeping.

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
7 s, y( [% x, P: L- ^2 `+ ?High school diploma (Or GED)
1 c7 }9 S' a, R6 y1 m9 i/ SWell-articulated and assertive7 b7 v5 |# H1 `- @' v4 b0 H1 P
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
