Job Summary:
+ ^: m9 Q1 ^8 _9 y* H4 Z9 QThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
& N$ P0 A; s$ ]% w4 M# s: TLoads and unloads non-ferrous material$ [" j" T6 }, N1 w) |
Must be able to work safely at all times. ]; G% Q& j/ K0 [; N" \% X' p0 C
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently; g0 c- W" y) n0 h p, a" ?1 V
Performs routine housekeeping.6 Q O5 x- B( Z8 v
Observes and reports any safety issues

Job Qualifications:

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing4 v2 Y3 z2 m7 ~
High school diploma (Or GED)- w- q( P% J* |
Well-articulated and assertive& X8 ?# T( i4 x
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
