Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

% h. t5 Q3 w: _' ^( P1 CDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
( Z, p$ g5 A) i* |& Minclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.
# U7 P. u3 w3 a- [! T
Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
/ e6 `& n- V/ B' Jseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
' A( Q4 h" S) Q( B" d- m: j7 r* ?and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
