( R) v; J$ X: \3 B& o- hSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
$ e3 ~1 K0 m) H/ Ztechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
for use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
# X. b4 S# j5 y$ S2 Ecompounds by chromatography.

, k: ]3 L& O/ T3 c( R# e( U/ LQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
$ r! [# r; j2 r" E, [Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
/ d1 B. U6 e# p- Banalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
" ^. o3 T) L/ @4 [5 Mseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
* m7 x. e+ o5 c- ~! Yand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
