Salary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.

Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
; q0 O: m. _- |/ D) h* Cfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
0 x' T4 N% q3 _3 I! Sinclude carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.

" u3 l. W0 j- YQualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
9 x/ Z7 G$ D. G  a4 rChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
analytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
& G6 W. A4 b5 Yseparations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
- N7 n+ B& c0 d" M5 f5 Dhope to work in these areas.
