1 j3 D8 Y( x  e  D8 FDuties include: working closely with graduate students and research
! C- S- _$ k% ^7 y2 Htechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
& d2 X! J8 n' r$ F: }. D6 I( qfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
& \5 _  [6 f3 O0 [+ ^  E1 `include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
! |# W" }' d6 Q7 ]6 ?) f0 Ncompounds by chromatography.

Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
6 N8 A$ Z' H. |6 j4 PChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
5 R9 g5 [7 ?0 q0 Yanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
1 w6 a/ e* m" Nof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
6 N+ b/ W8 A8 J+ A2 Uand chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
