Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30

; I" K0 Z. y; r3 l% PCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
3 i1 Z! U J3 P% `# _+ ]venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
, b% F6 o3 w( R% @* f$ N% {+ \etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
0 ^2 _) X$ K) m' G! Q) ^participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and9 Z; _: R) m- K! e
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
" Z1 ?3 a* ]0 {6 ctheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
& u0 V% y( O( t2 [2 w, t: [assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
+ r2 p7 m2 d, S: o. ~$ X3 svenue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city( j# i% l O8 @. Z
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
7 Y4 I+ f3 y: g: Dexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
* h( p' u+ c; L5 O- sexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
& _ k+ {: o" @Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
3 k! k. s( l; w& X5 L) x9 q6 W+ Zfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
5 h$ v \3 V3 ^- M$ a) I. ^ ]5 `demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
& f) B- F4 w) A0 ]5 |0 }- ta variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
5 ]5 k5 u" `7 ?6 a4 N" bof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management0 z$ \! M0 U3 z; `, \' ?& V
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
! F; W: C% ~" y3 K8 Y+ @$ p1 gExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
; }3 m) D; _' P9 Kexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
