The MLS and Comfree data doesn't show "supply is more than demand" at all, it just tells how many houses were sold to people that decide to buy a house+like the house+can afford the house. Based on the sale percentage, you can tell how hot the market is and 'demand >> supply' will last for a long time. " `7 Y% G! h5 v' ~" s# p& `) P4 g

The other one is http://www.statcan.ca/Daily/English/070404/d070404a.htm, based on the amount of permits, you can kind of caculate how many new building permits were issued thus how many new houses start to build. |
