JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the 7 Z+ i. ]' |7 Q" ~% _; x* ~ C7 y
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the 7 C; x$ m, p' N/ F- q
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, - b6 c( d7 n; e9 J
cleanliness and order in the bar.

2 L1 ]- Y' }2 b* G8 U8 c0 U4 W8 ^DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:7 U0 }* @" }4 Y% d
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
9 J3 W- F% e( j/ Ebeverage items.' d+ R# \6 c2 K0 c) N; l

2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
& O' A. q/ J: V# C9 l$ d0 kbar and debit floats.

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of + ^6 w! Q5 X6 w6 B
each shift, and upon closing.

& D" X; k9 s# G8 g; w, m$ u4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 8 h0 D' r) T4 D! p/ S; v
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
, @/ H' ]9 b& Z+ sstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 1 P+ W( U4 k% A% W2 N* |
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.. g) E# @0 X/ j0 [+ @8 U

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close * |; E) l6 N, v" a1 o6 V+ y
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a

accordance with Students' Union policies.

( J! ^7 ]( Z, C+ @! n- j+ S2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume
