22.5 hours a week - Hours from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., Monday

2 Y$ h8 T$ q. J* ]0 }JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible to and under the general supervision of the  
* ~, H1 c* F: m1 N4 ?4 Y4 HOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the  
; S( N, Z& _7 {5 K( yprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,  + `* x. U3 ~, h# e: i
cleanliness and order in the bar.. Q0 o- I& H9 {0 L

! L% [' R+ w& e1 Q* p9 IDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 ]8 m. v# N0 q7 V1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and  
8 o; T+ O7 ~. F2 r8 T  X( Cbeverage items.& W# T5 E1 e: G
1 F2 n1 {, h, h  S* z5 C; R; P
2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the  
7 O  I5 L% |* I( K- gbar and debit floats.
( v4 Q& x* e6 t  Q1 g# F6 o' v' O7 p% U9 I
3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of    t& }6 s" m' N. A
each shift, and upon closing./ T. G3 S( S/ ?9 s8 l

4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular  8 }& _, D! }; B, `& l8 ~
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and  0 }' L! g. B) p5 m4 e
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

  Y; q. t; `$ x, A9 Q* G+ |- |5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in  + {) o9 k' g7 L! O9 b$ h6 I) V
storage areas.   Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol  ) e3 z! O, d  I; r. t
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.) \7 B$ R+ _6 P6 x

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close  
2 @# V' d' O# V5 Q+ y4 N$ a8 tmonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a  ' C8 X1 b$ G& v, B
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in  
4 R; \9 m/ W& f1 H2 h5 N7 faccordance with Students' Union policies.2 i/ P5 n# X2 }  h* a

Authority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

1 V7 e1 f& t5 X9 m: vQUALIFICATIONS:
* M6 @# t& Z0 K0 z) A1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

& k$ n1 \) |2 G3 s4 b2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume  % S( ?. o/ H: j" t9 f3 K
operation., A# H0 G& ^* B- {5 t

3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in  
) x, [9 C" w6 l& Z  ?9 l8 h) Daccordance with Students' Union policy.- E4 Q" p1 W/ `$ u- o

6 {4 a1 W' N+ ^4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs., \0 @7 }: L1 U' [2 x1 P
