KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- P8 @+ ?/ l9 a4 u1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
6 X  g! n" h& W" }2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
2 X! i' _3 ~- ?8 c7 G3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
6 Q& a6 Y% L+ i2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
, h: E; Y9 o! N. c/ B3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
6 p7 j0 K! n2 ]/ |- A5 P' k6 h4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.

6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.
