DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

2 W3 p' y* R1 K! i  eDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

- _9 p: z1 Z' s/ z3 U2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
! z1 W: O; L& F# E/ P1 R! Tof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! w' y  {0 \' R4 u# W5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

% s/ C+ c) }- O* c* i5 F$ W4 a6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

; s! i+ d/ b3 `QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
/ l) j& F2 |- `# _5 qcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

; f5 ~% T6 Q3 O: l' f" V5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
