DOORPERSON (RATT)

! k, F7 x: N3 r5 `7 RJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ f0 H& L) h0 ]6 p: t4 H0 r1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

- ^3 q+ y7 N1 G# w& x/ X2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
1 H7 j8 ^7 R% `) ]3 P+ i
( D3 y& x/ @/ z+ Z: S" A- v3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
5 k; p8 x  |8 D& ~4 Rconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

; T7 q$ m4 v. T- o5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

1 t6 o, G% R" W/ r) g# [6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
1 f3 S- ]. Q" r7 ?Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

' B- A: T1 \* e' G0 l- ^9 L2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
+ R( E% E6 _2 ?- o8 u9 P: o: r. U
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
