2000. The Chief Returning Officer shall be recommended to Students'

1) To run the elections as per Bylaws 2000

3) To choose the Deputy Returning Officer(s) and assign their duties.

4) To organize polls during elections/referenda, including appointing

To enforce budgetary regulations as stipulated in the Elections

10) To be available to all parties during elections/referenda for a

3 k8 p: a" _! Fof voting. These hours are to be posted in advance.

11) To act as the arbitrator in any dispute which may arise during
/ t# j$ H& Z$ B5 ~& c. T' H# wthe course of an election/referendum.

12) To ensure that a cost effective and accurate ballot counting

& l/ s! M+ a2 C2 JQUALIFICATIONS:

1) Must be an undergrad student registered in at least one (1) course
4 i+ ?( O" j3 T: F2 cfor each of the terms of Winter Session and shall be a full Students' + c) E6 V, g8 l/ T
Union member. D" l1 ~/ }5 z
- _# S v" L& N8 c y! Y$ z- Q
2) Must have some experience in student elections.4 A- O4 f+ s6 ?3 W4 R! d: e2 D
) ]6 U4 i7 N4 Y `6 q6 M% z3) Shall not concurrently hold a position on Students' Council, or
: e( e9 r$ r7 P% Z3 B3 `any of its standing boards, committees, or any other paid position
" t1 \/ \2 e5 h& b# Cwith the Students' Union.

4) Willingness and ability to work varying hours.! w% I+ a: ^$ Q3 @( X: l# J( _
