Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

- u. E+ {9 R8 Y4 b7 MBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
1 ?' U T& ?2 q8 l" \work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
* l* U* p/ ?( m/ {prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
?- B5 z3 F% h3 @( MChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the2 @, p' J# r" Y- Q5 q2 s# E
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
6 A2 @6 T' Y6 v# R! ^; k* WEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for2 l/ z9 q, E- I0 |
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the/ N) Q+ D' r& _9 B2 y
recyclables.
& P5 w: n' F" h% D8 XFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
8 I; \% g' v5 }% a0 p0 j2 npart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
+ f) L$ t, ^( k! Q. jHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
1 f$ C7 x1 T) {. k8 D+ Ithem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
- r8 I+ z' _1 p* Zhours are part of this crew’s duties.1 }+ t H2 A; D$ X" T) m. ?5 e
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the' N9 A7 r8 m+ b( Z- v
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide- u( M9 }* ^. y; H' j
programs to visitors to the festival.8 b8 |' y* V8 V, j& D4 g8 o! e& w# p2 Z
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
6 } I- ] a; L/ M5 [2 ~1 j8 meveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.; y; D# ~1 }* g$ n8 [/ q
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed; x: h8 g6 ^& y0 ~. L
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the0 j! z! m# @) J6 E
festival.# D' S; L: H7 M- J6 I( U
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
; d7 a Q3 f- ^* H; o" }operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you6 U* c% M' ~. l8 v! t# _. e
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
7 _8 \) y% {9 o, QStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
0 r& f: t6 a- H W! xand/or understanding of back stage procedures.8 Q! P# n& [5 \7 j0 s# t9 h
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be% R; O6 T7 v) k& c h2 ~ U
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
; | A U& r" s$ s" Y6 o/ Zairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival& P7 k- G- w# N b. b. t3 Z
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
