Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft9 Z( ^8 V. F) v& V; a8 U
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.0 ?% J T5 ?0 W# `4 G9 T
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
9 b( I+ j6 r6 g6 hartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
& I+ _$ D6 `- G% ^7 m* BEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
6 T, R. x: ], p8 Z `0 S, w# }4 p+ j% xvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the% D8 y, Y6 @4 K* k; V
recyclables.
; }- i" y& V1 fFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be) C, d' A- G. x: [0 p, ^1 a) m
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.4 u, e) h7 O/ `5 I0 A; U
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
+ E! q8 j3 e" b e, ~$ s$ ` Cthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
. U7 F; i" m: u5 r- [/ M( shours are part of this crew’s duties./ ~0 R$ o9 T# M3 ~4 W; a7 \
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the. d f2 ^! `* o, m( Y- h' t
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
3 v4 q* `) v/ aprograms to visitors to the festival.
5 }1 G# ?+ S- v+ u; }, B( S RKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
6 z7 }8 v# F2 @, m# t1 P N3 keveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.2 x1 R5 B. T8 F
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
2 d) ^+ i7 | x4 _; }* {9 mevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the; B5 {: G7 B4 @+ p: }
festival.6 b, _. l0 E9 f$ A) v% B
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is, i, d0 P) I8 S) d: C0 v& i" K
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you8 Q4 J7 A; A+ I2 Y
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.; i7 i- a2 W6 i% d3 F0 a% G
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training2 |5 }; {/ }& U+ Y) C) x6 C
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
0 k9 Y- v$ H( h9 I' q+ [Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be0 O: M2 K* P1 w
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
% ^ S/ `% m$ T3 ^. t+ R- C9 |airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
" ?: d7 a U' S1 Tstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
