Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
/ j' M/ d; e/ N9 i- s# X2 `9 C) ywork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft+ A& x" ~8 p! m. R6 C
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.6 B* w+ l! L4 b8 {
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
" v, S. A2 r x% s9 Iartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.: w5 R8 v- E' w
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
. h6 ~' X. I6 `6 F/ }visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
% ~! T4 \" Z" v6 a, orecyclables.
; y% {- E0 l( u( b d) YFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
& N+ y' h3 Y, ?# ]part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.8 t$ A) `1 w1 u- l5 {& N, G/ F
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing% Z) ^/ Y$ j" J! U- e
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
5 q$ H- P6 n$ Mhours are part of this crew’s duties.
2 X6 T' e9 e0 ~+ dInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
! {& [/ ^* B: T3 _* kfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide) N& T& y' D3 i8 ^
programs to visitors to the festival.
: w: q' R" P( Q' x( w, sKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
6 a$ O/ g6 k: ~$ d$ A. meveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
5 b1 `+ q# D) ]9 x: P; SOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
T& D! v, r( @. G( I/ F6 G: gevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

! ~+ }( i9 v/ y9 B; `" i# W. y0 WSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is9 F( H* m2 S6 z) |' ?( x
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you5 _5 ?: j6 G8 _' i* q1 g
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
6 j: O$ \/ l) c/ T# F6 C$ xStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
2 @) y6 w7 R: d% ^# E8 Uand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
3 [0 }& d9 G' L* {1 g# wTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
+ l7 `' x9 A# q2 y3 |4 Yrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as& S- G7 v3 j3 }2 \% z; N! z
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
* j( o- L# C$ U- Y! I: G0 Y# bstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
