Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the
( `+ I `( N; A6 N8 dfestival.- v: m0 m: C; u
Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
; u# B# _9 P+ _! L( _/ {work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft9 @1 X& L8 ]# o; j4 u
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
# n( y# x) g: A% n6 y4 a3 x! X* cChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
. r8 p2 D8 H5 j1 J2 \' sartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.8 g* l% L7 ]1 x4 V0 F
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
0 O4 K. h8 w7 svisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the9 _8 a8 Y2 g; Q* }9 [, s7 O# Z
recyclables., [3 Y, k/ ^$ U" ^0 e
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be% w- X, s9 ^) a2 K: e, L+ O$ ^
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.& ~. f: m' p8 I) g& w7 W* j
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
( x5 a) B" r" {3 u u" m0 Ethem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
% Q. [' S3 O: K D9 Ahours are part of this crew’s duties.! J2 W4 k7 ~; P) N' J1 k
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
: n8 r- k+ ?1 Qfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
' W; }# g$ _, v' n9 v0 Y1 kprograms to visitors to the festival.
2 ?3 i( J& {8 s7 Q/ m& JKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
1 u- P$ ?, e& L2 {1 W8 l, {8 m0 {everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.; \! w0 h5 X7 o0 W& @ Y4 C4 ]
Office: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed" c/ T5 s# ^2 j* S$ J; `* }4 P( d
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
! v9 W' T2 V/ y. {5 Y5 n% b l$ d+ nfestival.
, E4 o4 C( R5 sSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
. m ^! @% A+ X2 J9 M+ roperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you* F4 k K9 ?) F( s
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
+ H/ s5 f/ V; H- P9 QStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
" h* a1 i9 t. ~; q# rand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
8 L+ `2 |% |! a7 q2 h/ Z# @) t% B6 ETransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
2 h" k0 ]! \: S9 F0 v* r7 u! Wrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
; |- P6 c$ `; s% `* O- ?2 Aairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival5 E8 t' [5 O* `) P' P
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
