Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
. q4 C5 U& b. O: M& Z% k1 ]# F' Zwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
: H' F9 F* d/ n7 r- yprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
: A1 H& U) g3 w7 k" AChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the3 X% x Q# I. z, W, {# A
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
/ C" q" N8 [! n, m3 kEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for0 e! \( x$ Y1 e# l% B
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the* ]( s1 X! O& i9 G( f
recyclables.+ U& h2 c: a4 J. P6 P, J: |# ^
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be4 D; I" I4 [% e& j) s+ y
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.
4 [/ u2 g S( ~$ h" K, PHospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
/ `% N3 [' d1 @+ P( X7 @them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late" h# D0 q% U' Z& O; e( u- H0 \
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
6 ~' s( j5 V; L; C! n. j6 F QInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
# X/ u& ^. @3 ^1 n$ z$ B+ L0 pfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
8 K: }1 `/ V( J9 ^) v' a- a9 Wprograms to visitors to the festival.
( Z3 |9 R8 p4 D) i( TKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for9 t& f) Z* r1 Z7 ^9 R7 j& ~
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
( o$ E+ F9 ~: A" m5 r* R5 `# L3 m0 LOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
3 `) `' {6 e0 zevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
- Q0 f* v# c5 N/ ]7 L) Q }1 ]" Roperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
1 f; R. \. B4 h" c# J1 k4 |# ware physically fit and ready for any emergency.
( x4 T! ?4 E2 J' LStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training5 e9 M; e# q: m3 z$ \4 G
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.( f& q0 S3 i6 [0 q4 }
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
, Y8 X, s, z/ p, ]& Prequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as4 L9 n8 L3 f2 a: {& y. J
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
: t5 }) k: @, c6 ~staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
