Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and3 T" t0 Z! H5 o- a
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft7 ^% ^$ R9 q; W2 ~8 w4 O
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.1 r! \7 x1 L+ ?5 Q4 |
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the+ W8 b. e# t' b9 H1 |9 e
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.0 \9 L& G8 j4 {7 p+ G/ v3 |
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for$ s2 l( v1 i& e. c/ H# @
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the' ~; e+ \0 } G
recyclables.& b# w9 E& F- B3 B Y6 S5 V" h
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be; Q9 e u! S6 O R, C0 m
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.. f q; F! u' M F a6 [6 W
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
- @0 h# a% l6 g1 ?) |them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late5 M* H% ~- J8 c# j
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
; m6 J' I) j) D" \9 sInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the8 s: ]" ?3 P, Z. d( O
festival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
# ^: L# [) B' [+ oprograms to visitors to the festival.
4 p# w- L# P0 V _ xKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
9 w% f6 t7 l4 _2 I2 Aeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
7 d; M0 a4 E8 a8 SOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
( m2 P5 }6 s. d/ `/ J0 oevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

$ W6 o* B$ Q6 B# y/ V. uSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
4 L0 d y! ?' X: n+ z1 loperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you5 Z. T" c0 a8 u2 X$ `, W
are physically fit and ready for any emergency./ n! I; a9 m/ T6 T7 g( K- A
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training0 ]$ e$ H$ d; Q, C, |+ i( f; r
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
* ]" v' b/ q. b8 ~: `) UTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
% P& w& H& a0 Z! ]1 lrequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as+ }: W7 j! u( X+ b( z
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
5 L {! v# }- F! Z9 B. x7 G% J$ {) bstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
