JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- 6 L: |! N& c) [, g3 A( i
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical , V8 _$ \( { ]# }) g! s+ d
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects , o0 S0 y6 ~* c
of Course Pack production.
% _/ I& K& W7 O. N0 k' l p/ F$ f* ~: s9 v1 B$ `( h0 V
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:) g4 ?$ x1 i1 l' v' H
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning - d( s) E" [' D0 z( m
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.) W4 G8 C- u" S) @. o
1 ?( C5 x1 l: G: C2 }2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including * T9 H: J, S" b+ u
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.6 T" a2 \# \1 y! m) k( \" Y+ O. `
% |# p7 W* |$ S4 K) V2 y1 \4 s6 c
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
/ D' r6 R; x+ l' Y1 i+ Q6 z1 Icourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
6 M7 q1 t6 g" K, k2 Ukeeping appropriate and accurate records.: ?8 {/ n: W0 D
# z) z. i# X2 L* m: F4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment V* |2 b; _/ A4 K$ L/ m. r
failures to the Operations Manager.: ]5 z9 C2 L7 U9 z+ J
& ]# G# l# U. T5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, : m' ]' W8 J( ^+ f
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
, F/ D( V* Y1 H3 @% Z0 z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.* {% @; f$ t u& g! ?" P
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

, X3 k2 o5 B9 x& H- i0 w3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.
