SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
1 A- K n3 o( b* B0 L3 k. pSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
7 {8 ]; ^- y$ r6 c$ i2 U/ q7 Qof Course Pack production.6 {) [' r9 d5 C9 F+ |2 g
U% X: ]5 v& ~! e" H! ^( t5 p4 xDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 v. ~! T( V1 N5 h1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning & l6 |1 I: j3 A" P8 i2 c0 V) r8 s( T7 i
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.4 w+ e$ h+ J/ `* @; q5 e6 q
* B( x# V; Z" m3 i: M2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 1 r4 ?( }6 Z& L$ N; l" D& q
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of 3 K% v9 m( R3 f; h+ F6 W
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and
' T& n/ G2 Y( s% Mkeeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
5 w# U/ V& u- u/ Vfailures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
q, V! t* X' G9 p2 hand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

* [2 `# j1 q# G! c: k1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
( E( N: x1 V+ O* Z0 l/ j2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication : g8 r& h! g; J7 c- }$ t& z
skills.0 a% F1 ^' s+ M
4 q @4 Q' B; g# ]# J# y3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.; m& g, I- T' [% P
