0 n+ p1 }" F2 S. ASU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 1 f/ Q2 P9 q$ s
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
9 M$ L* e* k7 L7 \+ ?2 {of Course Pack production.
; c4 S @3 G/ m X) Y/ P, l5 M5 u+ U" x: ^
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:3 u7 {" |8 z9 K! {3 e1 Q
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
% Y( f5 g/ y+ ^( o; L, G* }of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.
( ~# j! M2 P4 W/ R
4 I) E0 N7 e" Z) T& W# q0 t2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
' f4 F+ u) A$ v& a* q8 z9 i5 Bprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

" u/ L; i% F" ^2 u* s0 A4 y3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of / S$ L K& ]9 F: _7 X0 H' Q6 M
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 0 t7 B' v1 {) e. r4 T
failures to the Operations Manager.

% t% J. p9 K; S/ B5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, 2 T2 m; ^! ] r. M
and adhere to regulations as appropriate.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.0 l3 t) [0 v& @6 B) [
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication 2 A; U @/ L" q
skills.

$ J- U3 K. {! e$ ?* ?3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.0 P- w, z8 W; R( a7 q' }

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
