! u/ P6 ^% d0 h/ [5 pFORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) and two of its contractors are headed to court next month after being charged with dumping partially-treated sewage from two work camps into a northern Alberta river.

* r8 q' c' t! Y- x7 [The contractors charged are the Compass Group of Canada, which ran the camps, and Rodney McCabe, whose now-defunct company operated the two wastewater plants.

The nearest downstream community is Fort MacKay, but a spokesman for the aboriginal settlement said the 600 residents take their water from another river that's not connected to the Athabasca. |
