FAVA is currently looking for a Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant to join the FAVA team for 12 weeks in the summer of 2009. FAVA is a non-profit, charitable organization

artists from Northern Alberta.

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Film, Video & Media Arts Assistant will report to the Executive 3 }5 k' e9 o4 @( ~/ N* g' n% `
Director and work with the Production Coordinator and Maintenance Coordinator by
- L* I4 I0 Z0 p/ l0 \$ aassisting in the day-to-day operations of the Production Department.
% w# q' o) @( V& Q+ x' _

2 z9 Q' o6 I$ f9 ]- Assist with research on acquisition grants 9 s% N' h2 S* T" O/ `
- Assist with production and post-production gear and facilities
/ ? k' d3 G. F. t; s- Assist with equipment maintenance 0 N, H) r" E( C0 T+ L* M7 `0 }1 ?
- Assist with production logistics for programming events 8 i/ m% p) `, ]+ \8 D
- Assist with communication with members and interoffice staff
1 q% e9 g' o3 V7 k: I; s- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable
