. Y" T% B% u6 ~% BAnyway, my precious bit of free shopping time didn't get any better. The shoes I was wearing with no stockings began to rub my foot raw and I kept getting lost. I have been going to Milan for 15 years, but there's something about its Bermuda shopping triangle that still turns me upside down and this time delivered me outside Ferragamo when I really wanted the Prada accessories store. Then the handle snapped on my Gucci shoe.
Still I wouldn't give in. I hobbled on to Prada and by the time I got there clutching my broken shoe like a baby and shuffling my bad foot to try to avoid the open sore, I realised

Even though this is a confession of my true awfulness, I still can't bear to tell how much I paid for these boots. Suffice to say it was too much.
But a funny thing has happened - they look fierce, but those boots are as comfortable as old loafers and have be-come my all-time fashion show best purchase.
