4 i' Y( w, ?, v; K5 e3 mOverall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

The impact of the position is to ensure long term healthy growth of the company

Key Responsibilities:

• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

; ]0 d: J2 h* ^. S* a( V: A6 g• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.

, |9 v( o) Q2 M• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.
) J5 h7 V; L; H  b) H2 d4 m- ~
• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets.
 
Job Qualifications
7 s* l$ A2 C0 l, A• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

+ a3 c! u$ r2 w& C/ V) c/ P7 z• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

) D. v' X1 m9 a$ W. V- f3 L2 i. T• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.

; G( z1 \. D1 k/ J. R• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.

• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
, M: e. A. J: S$ m, _& X" c
• Travel within the assigned region.
