昨天收到通知, 酒税今天起增加, 主要内容如下:% H% w+ G& c+ }& M8 Q. z
' g1 d6 S8 F ` ?1 f* B# m8 cOn March 26, 2015, the Government of Alberta announced an increase in the liquor& d. D: D8 @. u" P5 z; M8 h3 A+ h
mark-up rates. The new rates will be effective as of March 27, 2015.
8 b3 A6 j; C( W' y+ ^% X8 | ~) F' E, v7 `8 P c9 ]4 A
The increase is a 22-cent per litre increase for most products. The exceptions are( ?) f ^2 M; S, o6 P1 Z( H
products from small breweries, and products from cottage wineries that sell at farmers’9 q+ U3 o3 M% l F% y" ?2 [/ X% O
gates/markets, with no increase. Mid-sized breweries have an increase of 11 cents per/ T/ D: |. J8 y
litre applied to their products. This across-the-board increase maintains the flat nature$ |6 @$ `. `; Z/ b$ {
of Alberta’s liquor mark-up. In addition, Alberta will still have liquor mark-up rates that: B$ y3 o0 ^% y" O
are among the lowest in the country.

· Beer: 90 cents per dozen; approximately 8 cents per 341ml bottle or 355ml can.% A1 V3 H, p1 ^9 b: x
· Spirits: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.( }5 `" d; f4 }: w- h, u4 K8 N
· Wine: Approximately 16 cents per 750ml bottle.
