Yong Qiang Chartered Accountant is a small public practice accounting firm that serves the clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We provide accounting, tax, and other services for small sized businesses. ; y2 E5 K6 m0 Q$ i: Q# l

After 5 years’ development, we are expanding our operation with the acquisition of new office location. We are a firm that provide flexibility and work-life balance. We are a paperless office and believe a technology lead to high quality and outstanding service for our clients., y; p; K5 P& z% K' Q, o! @4 J) z
We are looking for a part time Accountant who can represent our firm by communicating with our clients while performing general accounting duties. You will develop your skills by working on a wide range of assignments. The main tasks will include but not limited to the following:
. ~% y' Y/ p* Y3 o•        Perform Full cycle bookkeeping duties (AP, AR, Bank reconciliations, etc.)
* @2 j. {  u; i9 }0 R" p•        Prepare CaseWare working paper files,
, C  z! z5 N" V•        Prepare financial statements
$ z7 x' ~, v# |! g& q( [. l•        Prepare corporate tax returns
  ?' ?" _( T* R•        File GST returns ; f2 X! g3 F0 B7 t2 U* G7 u
•        Process payroll: h9 c9 I0 ]2 W! W+ z
•        File T4/T5 returns   q5 h5 C1 `& L
•        Prepare personal tax returns

The position requires prior public practice accounting experience, proficiency in Caseware, profile, Quickbooks, Sage 50, and Excel.

$ f$ _  N9 @( ]7 i/ X$ S, M$ p  QConsideration will be given to the candidate who possess strong organization skills, have the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure. Designation is preferred but not required.' A6 F  Q1 z9 k# u" c: x- t

大意就是这种工作大多都是跳板,雇主也不容易。

我不是找工作的,自己有想过读书读这个专业,只是想了解一下这行。

* u9 i2 K2 o4 t/ s) x" ^; f$ n4 d不要读这个专业,除非你有背景或者以后会接手/经营自己的business9 ~9 K% l5 e* z+ m. O1 K- ~
3 K$ l: E) H; o8 N
这个专业的新手一捞一大把,供大大高于求,但是这个专业到了中级就比较容易了,缺点是薪水太低,一直到了高级或者是designated就不同了,供小于求,在招工的网站,大部分要求designation的工作都要放好久才被拿下来,这个门槛卡住好多好多人。。。。
