Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

! G1 v7 i/ w) p0 `9 j4 d2 W- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
- Supervise kitchen staff
5 I) l" B8 \0 i7 F% a+ d2 J0 C- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
. _+ i9 X1 u3 T' H& ]  k& F9 o( s- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
  H, P3 e5 f9 D1 Q7 w- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- R, F- ^- m! l: `7 X9 `5 P- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
4 t4 i" a& w4 w9 \  [0 e: S- Good proficiency in English.
5 z- A% S( G# Q% U8 h- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
* Q! n+ m! o, t8 X- x- tSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
