Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.

3 z6 U, G  {  q: g- w+ ?- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
2 k6 ^- Z, o1 {0 s8 Z: _' C- Supervise kitchen staff
% x$ M& L2 x# Y( p' N) x  ?2 I- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
+ R7 z$ D% \' ^: ], X" O- w- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
* O) A8 O) P9 Y) x% h- w* u3 a  d4 Z- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production
" x& S+ b3 p, J$ P0 }. p; z- Work night shifts, as necessary
Requirements:
4 N- z$ n: Z- q' \& c) q# x- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
' u; V* [, F& d+ D9 z: L$ P- Good proficiency in English.
- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
+ v4 j" b) K. @7 g: h& [# fWorking schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
1 a; D$ P) U; `Salary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
