! B8 u7 V4 C" y- P: OAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:2 X4 M" F3 ^1 V. w; _! Z( V
7 U, B$ A8 b. d. }5 L, O- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. - H1 N7 c4 _5 k! |
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
! q2 i* C0 \; {- B$ Z/ I' m- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
V1 u, W h) }$ m' V8 @) p- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
' Z: o. {' O7 P& I! j- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
6 `% x5 e0 L: ~$ F- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience 4 t+ a& d+ E* H$ Q5 t
- Strong leadership skills
) z% j6 u( P/ w- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 7 x6 Y4 ?8 c: n- _
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 6 k0 k( s- W) E
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 6 Z0 \/ f( t+ q3 o% j2 Y$ N
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
