) D; K8 V! t# _+ ~As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:& |- P1 W3 L: i1 V& @$ p$ N
' R- [' L% m9 U/ I. x' z- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. . N0 B9 B$ d& I/ C9 l
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
- o5 \! p/ v1 G- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 1 i! Y. e$ M: `# R' t
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
( r j) Q) i' M ^- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. ( [$ @2 o8 f( w f/ l
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
- B$ m: v3 D6 ]( J) y" V- Managing shift expense budgets.

! }$ }+ t- `8 i1 J. w3 F- Previous supervisory experience
# E4 C2 h% _- L: S1 i5 p- Strong leadership skills
w5 {0 [0 j6 @; X- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
$ W! l- q- V* r* c( p- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
) v2 n: z. r+ r5 `: c8 e; \- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
! z6 S$ Q2 g8 z" z8 Q" L2 ^5 f- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.1 @- z1 g2 Q! }3 X C/ P
