) e! x3 P! G' O! NAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

, E' D/ w S' ]7 Q, L- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. # @7 D- B/ c5 {- s! f0 [. p
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. . \; w( g! [) i5 N+ @5 {
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. , i/ u- r& d3 t( [. v1 p, E1 q
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
& C& n) \" ^7 v9 u8 V- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 6 G: M+ ^4 s& b8 h6 l1 j G& ]" s
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). $ Y6 b4 }3 d- j# h: N) L
- Managing shift expense budgets.

i4 W( ~3 ^* ]( f* w% I: p9 n- Previous supervisory experience + d* o8 t4 Y3 x5 j& t/ k3 g0 w
- Strong leadership skills 7 p4 L$ u6 m, ]5 j7 F( r' Y* N0 X7 D
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
& b9 l* W. [2 f: v3 U# h" [- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills % _$ v! o1 H& Y/ H. u/ A
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
3 C% }( z$ n& i1 {" z6 m& I- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
