) _/ X9 A8 O$ R$ f5 P0 gAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:7 {: L7 ?6 d1 X% h! O9 K$ n$ N) y
9 U6 L4 |& t/ ]7 z0 d+ `+ \2 H8 c' B- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved.
/ B7 F! e# p b. H7 q; @- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. , ?7 g: p0 k( |9 A+ c
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
( }+ Z4 D! ^- R( \4 F- O5 ?: z- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. 5 ]# _( ^$ \- F- d% E3 L7 @
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.

- Previous supervisory experience
. x: u: Z, y* y/ m- Strong leadership skills ' K ~ Y6 _" W6 z6 P! E% \9 _: E
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 7 i# h ]( v- f( q) ^7 Z
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 3 [2 z4 {3 d+ K% E
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
+ _0 P% ~2 z% a) g* o M- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
