/ Z! ?- Z0 w* N9 C$ X; [As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include: V: G" l, g# x8 o- B5 Q8 y
v) Z$ M" f5 a) s: c- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. % a$ |' ~! r7 \% z9 z. L# S
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. 0 f9 w* u6 C# c
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
% m0 n" u3 I+ x+ m& j2 [- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
4 h- h6 Z0 N0 Y& ^+ o; E- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. / I5 u" g* g+ s6 ?" e, K& u
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). 6 n4 s: N- T; ^9 N% u( _5 u

- Previous supervisory experience

- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 5 R* s( ]* ?" D1 x7 }. Z; v
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 4 e* ^6 \, \* A
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
