Z9 t: Z: R4 T' O) k D5 | ^5 H/ VAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. , k* S0 t6 W f1 g7 D6 r) h
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
& J* y9 S! f _8 o l- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ' v' x+ {5 t- K; o+ m
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
. f+ n4 m3 Z2 {) V( k/ }- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 3 ?9 t. h! T7 I3 v
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). * _0 N1 }( _7 H3 _$ P0 L6 H' C
- Managing shift expense budgets.
; K% b1 W( o6 H3 Y' a5 S* S8 S/ T1 Z# ?9 _# \4 @, {, S9 [8 u
Experience and Education Requirements; f7 o/ I8 L. G8 O; j
0 k& n. U$ v8 k0 G7 N- Previous supervisory experience
4 D0 Q* S& z8 A8 E: B5 f3 w f& ~8 s- Strong leadership skills
' ?% t/ Q& v. {! v- A minimum of grade 12 diploma + D6 ?. P5 b! i+ M9 Q
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
/ {" P: m0 g0 n2 B; |6 g0 G w8 Y- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations % B( W& X2 d) {; _" _3 z
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
