The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

9 U1 N; x9 N6 W3 ?> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
: s2 i9 V. K$ ~) {5 F; I> who does understand and
1 k  `/ ^7 E# c6 X> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
> happened when God gave the
> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
6 U! J3 Q0 O# \/ H: w> sinful lives and to purchase
( B/ _- _* t( |+ L0 m+ v> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
6 P6 o; T( l$ i5 W1 Z( a/ c& w> His son from the dead
> and conquered death. It is though this event where
9 K, a& [- u( r8 [* }! Y% C> human history was
- F( A4 C  V( s+ C) p) v0 c! f> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
> hope. This hope, that's
> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
> certainty based on the
/ L4 ?* D! t# I% I> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
7 ^. U1 o! H- S* M; M, i! Z5 o* j> anticipation and a longing
> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.
> It is this hope that
