The pain of our loss is beyond anything we could

: i5 u2 f9 m# l- B> and over again people tell us that they could never
: m. g2 T# a! n" T) |6 i> begin to understand the
> depth of our loss. That is true. But we know of One
' c- v, f4 x$ e* ?9 I> who does understand and
9 r2 N0 f9 U1 D+ ~5 H+ b: D# K> feel our pain because He lost His son, too. It
> happened when God gave the
> sinless life of His son ant the cross to redeem
> sinful lives and to purchase
  y2 f9 c3 v1 I5 b8 Q3 k3 r> forgiveness for us all. There days later, He raised
4 T( p0 ]/ a; W1 i; S> His son from the dead
! `. ^  B' ^& k, j> and conquered death. It is though this event where
> human history was
> intersected by divine grace and mercy that we have
; ]% l8 R& H1 a, W> hope. This hope, that's
, L+ P6 D8 {- ?6 l5 D> what's sustaining us. It's not an idle wish, but a
0 p& _0 \& s( q: B% I1 S6 d3 X> certainty based on the
> promise of God. And this hope fills us with eager
& o) P/ q" E5 r% T> anticipation and a longing
6 y1 p7 m4 z6 {; f> for the time when we shall be forever with the Lord.

5 b0 V! G7 D$ a( p' ^> will ease the pain of our loss, as the Prince of
1 V2 k+ D# y6 }9 f. |2 e7 o, |) P> Peace comes to our hearts
& C1 g, @: T* ~4 j0 ^! n- z> and says to be still and know that I am God.
