Ambulance personnel were called to the building at 9023 184 St. at around 4:20 a.m., found the body of a 50-year-old woman inside one of the suites, and called police.

+ s9 | C) I7 O! e, P' M8 hPolice say the address is known to west division officers, who have responded to the suite several times in the past for family-related disturbances.

Yellow police tape surrounded the entrance to the eight-unit, three-storey tall building as tight-lipped EPS officers walked in and out of the home throughout the day.0 n h# U9 A O+ o* y- O) i6 V

Though neighbours say they did not hear anything yesterday morning, some say the neighbourhood is less safe than it used to be.+ w9 ~; U$ N+ S5 D
$ C- S; s) J" L, g* `2 o* \“My granddaughter is 20 and is scared to go out,” Joan Harvey said while visiting her relative yesterday afternoon. “I’m scared for her.”
