他说，SUNCOR由于停止扩张，里面很多做project项目的部门都被裁撤了。从项目组裁撤下来的人就在本公司内重新安排工作。项目组的很多工程师，planner等办公室人员原本当年就是从各个生产部门中的熟手中抽调过去的。所以这些人又从这些项目部门里面撤回到生产部门去补充技术队伍。自然绝大多数空位置都被他们填满了。甚至说，还可能有多余的人可能找不到位置。现在SUNCOR从外面找新人，在目前的情况下概率很小很小。楼上的还是多留个心眼，千万不要在一棵树上吊死哦。

Thank u for yr information. I work for an agency in COP(conocophilips), COP give agency 70$/hr, but i only get little, so I'm seeking some opptunity, but since it's too slow now, I'd better stay..

Those who has been here for a long time said in early 90s, when the oil price dropped too low, the oil companies laid off the contractors first, then their own full-time employees.

I hope it won't happnen this time, but who knows? So save some cash for the rainy days just in case.

我去问过部门经理,他们说现在所有的职位都从内部解决,因为有600内部员工在等着找工作,实在没有人能做的,如果招外面的人的话要公司的VP批.
现在的形势看着真的很严峻啊
