emerging, mid-range to established artists with an unwavering passion for film, video

resource for production equipment and post-production facilities; hosts events and

Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the 1 I/ |3 @5 k; [6 U6 l3 T( |# D, t
FAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as
* E G( `6 s2 g2 \ T: g) @1 Ewell as the script, magazine and book library.

- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library 4 t3 {" M/ J2 B+ T' u' D. J+ A+ J
- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
5 e3 A F% ^. |5 L" h j$ z- Implement a catalogue template for future use 3 ~% |% u, M( G+ |
- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure
" x n+ N' o' L/ G6 r! E) x. ^- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable

- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week : y9 m9 S* @4 W6 f! G
- Length of position: 10 consecutive weeks

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: 9 Z D. R) g0 f+ I9 h- J9 e
- A passionate interest in film, video and media arts 8 u1 I( c: b( B6 l3 H
- Strong organizational skills
4 q9 O! a5 d, q8 Q$ n% A9 T8 `/ C- Experience or training in library sciences preferred 5 i6 r) o2 e5 M2 m
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
